Cubism Max

Cubism Max is an acrylic painting on canvas. The first in a series of cubist-style cat paintings, this one hangs in my living room. My favourite muse in my cat, Max! His unique sleeping positions make a great reference for angles, colours and messy experimentation. I hope to complete a ton of paintings in this style – it’s fun and takes me out of my comfort zone, allowing me to experiment with non-realism and different colour palettes.
